PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

Kuching Water Board wished to inform consumers that a new main link-up will be commissioned at Mile 5th, Jalan Matang Jaya at 10:00AM on Saturday, 23 January 2016, in order to improve the water pressure and flow to the Matang Jaya Housing Estate and surrounding area.

Consumers at Taman Matang Jaya, Taman Rassnorm and all of surrounding area may experience turbid water as a result of better pressure and flow upon the commissioning of the main link-up. Consumers are therefore advised to be prepared for the said occassion and to report to KWB Call Centere (Tel: 082-222 333) for neccessary action.

Kuching Water Board wished to inform consumers that it would be carrying out pipe connection work at Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong from 10:00PM on Friday, 22 January 2016 to 5:00AM on Saturday, 23 January 2016. The said pipe connection work will be postponed to the following day if the weather doe not permit.

Consumers at Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong, Maroon Park, Lorong 2 Stephen Yong, Taman Kwong Tiong, Taman How Ching, Country Valve, Kampung Sandong, Taman Borneo, Kampumg Pangkalan Baru, Kampung Semeba, Kampung Tematu, Taman Boulder Built, Kampung Danggak, Batu Kitang Kuarters, Kampung Batu Kitang Jaya, Kampung Batu Kitang, Kampung Lidah Tanah, Kampung Bukit Pancor, Kampung Bunga Rampai, Kampung Keranji, Jalan Sekunyit, City Mall, Jalan Stephen Yong Link and all of surrounding area will experience low water pressure or supply interruptions during the said period. Consumers are therefore advised to be prepared for the said occasion.

Kuching Water Board wished to inform consumers that it would be carrying out pipe connection work at Jalan BDC from 10:00PM on Friday, 15 January 2016 to 5:00AM on Saturday, 16 January 2016

Consumers along Taman Satria Jaya BDC, Pelita Heights, Durian Burung, Taman Daya, RH Plaza, Four Point Sheraton Hotel and all of surrounding area will experience low water pressure or supply interruptions during the said period. Consumers are therefore advised to be prepared for the said occasion.

Kuching Water Board's Song Thian Cheok SBBS Counter will be temporarily closed with immediate effect from 01 November 2015 until further notice.

For bill payment, kindly proceed to the following SBBS counters:
(i) Kuching Water Board (Headquarter), Jalan Batu Lintang
(ii) UTC Counter
(iii) Other SBBS Counters, i.e. POS Malaysia, H&L Supermarkets and Participating Banks

Any inconvenience cause is most regreted.

The Board regrets for any inconvenience caused to our consumers. All efforts will be made to restore the water supply back to normal in the fastest time possible.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 ISMS
  Kuching Water Board was first certified to MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 on 6th June 2014.

  Currently, Kuching Water Board is certified to MS ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 Information Security Management System by CyberSecurity Malaysia on 18th September 2015. The Board's ISMS is currently subject to annual audit by CyberSecurity Malaysia. The extermal auditor conducts yearly surveillance audit to ensure KWB complies and adheres to the requirements of the Information Security Management System.
