Kuching Water Board had been awarded the ISO 9001: 2008 certification on 9th December 2003.

The scope of the certification covers Production, Distribution, Customer Service and Revenue Collection of Water.

The Board was officially granted the ISO 9001:2008 Certification on 8th January 2010.

Re-certification audit by external auditor M/S Moody International Certification (M) Sdn. Bhd. was conducted on August 2012. The ISO 9001:2008 Certification granted on 8th January 2010 was subsequently extended for another three (3) years to expire on 22nd January 2013.
