In 2006 and 2007 the Board produced an average daily of 349MLD and 379MLD respectively of fully treated water representing a 7.9% increase over the year 2007. The average daily consumption rose from 348.9 Megaliters in 2006 to 378.4 Megaliters in 2007, an increase of 7.8%. More than 98% of the population in Kuching City and surrounding areas enjoyed the supply of fully treated water. The estimated population served was about 600,000 peoples. |
