Kuching Water Board was first certified to MS ISO 9002:1994 on 26th October 2000.
Kuching Water Board was certified to ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System by M/S Moody International Certification (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and COFRAC of France on 16th December 2009 to be expire on 15th December 2012. 
Currently, Kuching Water Board is certified to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System. The Board's QMS is currently subject to annual audit. The extermal auditor conducts yearly surveillance audit to ensure KWB complies and adheres to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
