| Kuching Water Board was first certified to MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007 on 6th June 2014. |
| Currently, Kuching Water Board is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) by CyberSecurity Malaysia, an agency under MOSTI on 22nd July 2020 to be expire on 10th April 2023. The Board's ISMS is currently subject to annual audit by CyberSecurity Malaysia. The external auditor conducts yearly surveillance audit to ensure KWB complies and adheres to the requirements of the ISMS. |
The scope of the Board's Information Security Management System Certification covers for New Water Application, Billing, Incident Response, Enforcement and Revenue Collection Services via Customer Relations and Billing System (CRBS) located at Kuching Water Board main office by ICT Unit.
